Collagen production in our skin slows as we age, with most adults losing up to 20% of their natural collagen by the time they’re 40.

Bio-remodellers address this by improving skin hydration, firmness and luminosity through micro-injections of very soft hyaluronic acid into the skin, acting as a natural moisturiser to stimulate collagen.

With one of the highest Hyaluronic Acid concentrations on the market, when injected just beneath the skin's surface, collagen and elastin production is boosted by attracting and retaining water in the deeper skin layers. This results in enhanced skin hydration, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, improved skin tone, laxity, and firmness, resulting in a tightening and lifting effect.

For optimal results, we recommend a course of at least two Profhilo® treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Many clients maintain their results with a top-up treatment every 6 months.

  • What is Profhilo?

    Profhilo® is a bio-remodelling agent designed to effectively combat the signs of aging. It works by stimulating the skin’s natural rejuvenation process.

  • When will I see results?

    You may see an initial boost of hydration creating a glowy appearance as soon as a week after the first treatment. However as the targeted effect is to stimulate collagen and elastin production, the full effects can take up to 4-6 weeks following second treatment.

  • Are there side effects?

    There can be some common side effects such s bruising, redness or swelling. Other rare but possible side effects could include infection, allergy, hardening at injection site.

  • Will I be eligible for treatment?

    Profhilo® is suitable for most people. However, Profhilo® should not be used in or near areas where there is or has been a skin disease, inflammation or skin related problems. Profhilo® has not been tested in pregnant or breastfeeding women, individuals with medical conditions that lower the body's immune response.

  • Profhilo®, containing low & high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, is a Class III medical device for the treatment of the face and body for contours redefinition and laxity remodelling where skin laxity is a problem. Profhilo has risks and benefits. Do not use with treatments such a laser resurfacing or medium deep skin-peeling. Caution in people on blood thinning medicines.
